Autumn Recap: Around Home Outdoors!

We really enjoyed a beautiful fall...Lots of fresh sunny days and warm weather!

We enjoyed many "nature" walks around the neighborhood together

We built forts in the back yard...

And played chalk out front while we waited for M's family to get home...

And we took more walks...One brave day I took all 4 kids for a walk to the local grocery store for special snacks...The older two insisted tehy bring their baby doll strollers along with them. It was all well and good until they got tired, and then it was pretty comical! Me, with one toddler on my back, lugging this overflowing wagon, baby doll strollers stacked on top of the pile of tired kids! It certainly will be a fond (if not sweaty exhausting) memory!
They really were such little troopers, they walked pretty much 2 miles of the 3 mile trip, but BOY I got the brunt of that last mile.

This autumn just flew by! We had so much fun taking walks to local parks and exploring favorite places together.

Autumn Update: Shall We Dance?

Pip asks daily when HER dance class starts. She's really got some moves! And tries so hard to copy her sisters. It is probably the most adorable thing ever.

Friendly and Roo started dance classes last September! A local church offers dance through Athletes for Christ and the girls have been enjoying the program so much! They have both been learning so much and enjoying their individual classes every week.

They are REALLY enjoying their classes...

They are both taking Tap and Ballet. Friendly in the 4-5's class and Roo in the 6-7's

It has been a wonderful experience and I hope we can continue next year!

Autumn 2014 Recap: SCHOOL

School school school! We started some fun new things this school year!

We launched into the school year with ALL THINGS ANIMALS....We also added an extra 2 year old to our crew during the weekdays. M has been a lovely addition to our days and we have had a lot of fun exploring things together.

We started off pretty strong, we stuck to a letter and a number every week...But some where around mid October that got lost in the shuffle...


But boy was the shuffle fun! Here are some pictures from our school year so far...

Pip's first ever picture of a person!!! This is from Late August (She was newly 2 and a half!) I thought for certain her sisters had drawn it until she showed me how she did it! Look at all those body parts! And the arms don't come out of the head, but the legs,so different from other new drawings I have seen before.
