Last night the girls were having a hard time going to sleep, so I started reading to them from the gospel of Luke...we started in chapter 2 (one of their favorite stories) and I as I read Friendly did her routine of nodding and commenting on what was being read. Her first comment came after verse 2: "This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.)" Friendly Piped up..."oh I wuv cerweal! It s so yummmy!" :0D

First time to write everyones names...she started writing letters on her own last summer...but now she knows all her alphabet and can write out words if you spell them. So so cool. I did nothing to "teach" except occassionally show her when she asked...but she generally just copied fridge magnets.
