Mommy found a new wooden doll kit for a few cents at a kikds sale today.
Lovin on Pip...AKA February 2012
There is a lot of sister love happening around here!
It has been really interesting to watch these big sisters with their baby. When Friendly came along Roo was still (pretty much) a baby herself. She liked Friendly, but was so little she was fairly indifferent to her existence. This time there are two verbal little kids who are SO into the new baby it actually drives this Mama a little crazy. Don't get me wrong, it's a good issue to have! It's amazing to see the love in our family grow. But BOY! If I had people talking to me loudly in high squeaky voices, touching my head, pulling (more or less gently) on my limbs, touching my cheeks: EVERY TIME MY EYES OPENED- I would be crazy. I would. But Pip seems to (more or less) LOVE it. She loves to be around her sisters. you can feel her joy just getting to sit in our arms and watch them play. In certain moods she starts to scream when we take her out of the action. She leans towards them (in her jerky newborn way) and actually really loves to be held by them (unless she just wants Mommy!). It is incredible to see the shadow of future friendships peeping out already. One of my favorite part of watching my littles grow, is seeing them play together. They have their fights, their bad days...But watching their little adventures (and dramas) unfold is the BEST!!!
