Another August...

Hello internet! It has been quite some time since I blogged. I always get the itch to blog at the end of summer. Probably soon the planning I am doing for the approaching school year and the need to look ahead and back and take account for everything.

We added a fifth Joy to our crew! Sunny (nickname) Joy joined us in May 11, 2018 after a few days of starts and stops labor (nothing new here I am 5/5 on that deal) and a quick hospital induction (yay for not being in active labor for days!!)

He was a peanut at 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long.

His name means a Pledge of Peace and Joy which has a sweet meaning to our family both for the meaning and for the fact that he is a namesake for my Dad who passed away in 2006.

We are adjusting pretty well to the family of 7 thing, it feels pretty familiar as Hubby and I both free up in families of 7!

At this writing Roo is aged 10.5years far from the jumpy little Hephalump Hunter she was when I was blogging regularly. She is tall, an avid reader, bright and inquisitive and loved anything to do with computers.
Friendly will be 9 this week! She too loves reading and spends hours a day writing and illustrating stories and running around outside with Pip.
Pipsqueak (Pip/Pippy) is no longer a tiny squeak of a thing she is 6.5 years old she is an avid Minecraft player, absolutely loves that game. She is learning to read and has a loose tooth which she is very excited about.
Ziggy will be 3 in less than a month. He is a busy guy, he loves to draw and is shockingly good at it! He also enjoys making giant paper messes of every kind that involve scissors and tape. He just potty trained (mostly) and is quite proud of his new skills.
And sweet Sunny, his sunshiney smiles are the brightest in the world and his thunderstorms are unbelievable. He is loud and insistent and will never be lost in the crowd! He is also incredibly earnest and sweet and we could (and do) spend hours a day listening to all he has to tell us in his earnest little growls and yells. He will be 3 months the end of this week.

More to come. I hope to blog more about what we are doing in school and around home.
